Please make the font bigger...

edited June 2006 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
In the default stylesheet the font is SMALL! And that same smallness generally carries over to all of the other stylesheets. I mean, I'm an 18 year-old youngster, and its a strain on my eyes to read a lot of the text (especially on a big monitor). I can only imagine what it does to people who have worse eyesight than me. Yeah, I can increase the text size, but that increases the size across all sites, and its a pain to go back and forth to change it just for Vanilla boards. Why such a small font? Can you please make the defaults bigger?

  • In Mozilla CTRL++
  • nothing stopping you from changing your own local css, either on this site or your own.
  • what do you mean the text is small? I can read it just fine...

    Please read. Thanks.
  • the font size is 12px, which is significantly higher than Mark ever used to in the past... And pretty much standard across the web, of course, if you have it on 1600x1200 then your not going to see shit...

    i thought 12pt was the standard, not 12px. Regardless, I'm happy with the size. edit: well not *standard* but you know what i mean
  • I increased the text size too -- way too small, even in IE (which _is_ saying something!).
  • See, another thing is, I can increase the text size, but that increases it across the site, and makes some parts of the site just too big (for example, the titles). The main readable text that is in the posts needs to be by default a bit larger, but I don't think everything needs to be bigger.
  • I don't know what you're talking about. The text size is just peachy for for me.
