Hello all.
I am not good in PHP, but I definitely know Russian well, because it is my mother tongue. And so I have created this single add-on for Vanilla, to contribute at least something to the community and Mark as the author. Thanks

Unicode (utf-8) is the only charset allowing to display a page with mixed languages/charsets, i.e français/руÑcкий (note the cedilla in French). All other stick to basic latin (English) + one family of languages (i.e. slavic).
Note: the руÑcкий word does not display correctly on this forum because the CSS use Trebuchet font which is not as complete as needed, at least on a Mac. Switching to a full fledged font is also a requirement for some charsets.
p.s. i always thought that this is Verdana font
