Is there an add-on to provide email notification when a topic is replied to?

    Notify, although it seems to have some issues. So I'm not sure it can be called completely reliable.

    This discussion sums it up. Sometimes the emails aren't sent. Cause: Unknown.

    Hi, I also have some trouble with the notify extension which doesn't do anything in my vanilla and my users promised me an hanging party with feather and oil if I cant' resolve for them this issue...huhu. I first add the rss extension (fine one) to use for my own. And then I gave a look to your code : Isn't it possible to add the vanilla.class.commentManager.php a call to your Email class (Framework.Class.Email.php) to send a mail at least to the author? I'm not really programmer but webdevelopper for my own so I can try (I will if I have no answer but with a bad hack) to do it but it will be ugly : sure :-) I think that the best time to send a notice (or not, depending of a notice value in the account) is when the "update the database" is true but with so many if/else in it I'm still looking @ the right time. So could you help me for that?
