people forms no footer/css

edited February 2007 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
problem here... any help would be greatly appreciated...

i'm really new to this whole vanilla thing... i'm trying to apply some very simple theme changes to our installation to re-create our site header and footer on the forum. so i have created the new theme and uploaded my modified versions of head.php and foot.php and it seems to be working fine on every page except anything with a "people" form on it (sign in, sign out, reset password, apply for memebership). on these pages is appears that some or all of my css is broken (such as page background - perhaps vanilla.css isn't even being loaded), and also my footer doesn't appear on the page.

i hope there's a way around this... if not i'd be fine removing the header as well from those pages, but what i've got now isn't acceptable. please take a look here: xxxchurch.com/07/prayerwall (this page is good). and then here: xxxchurch.com/07/prayerwall/people.php (this page is not good).

blessings...

  • You need to modify the people.css primarily.
  • wow thanks... didn't even think of that...

i am getting the page background and layout back on the people pages, but my footer still isn't showing up. any ideas on how to do that?
  • i figured something out... if anyone has the same problem i did it will save you hours...

put your footer in page_end.php instead of foot.php. ;)

    blessings...
