Merge / Combine categories

Is there currently any efficient way to combine categories or transfer all posts from one category into another?

    a query on ur database can do the moving and merging as well an extension as of today doesn't exist

    well, there is an extension, but its still in the works.

    If you remove a category, you are given the option to select which category all the posts should go to, once that is done you can re-create it if needed.

    There's no need for extensions or database fiddling. If you remove a category in the settings, all the discussions in that category get moved to your replacement category.
