FCKeditor & TinyMCE removing all new lines

Ive installed FCKeditor plugin and editor It works fine (had to remove the video plugin because of an error, but never mind) except it removes every new line from every post on my site... ooops! Any ideas? Gordon PS. just discovered, it also does this for TinyMCE - not at the same time, of course. This also may just be in IE (7)

    whats a new line <br /> ? try adding a new line using fckditor what error did u get with the video thingy
