Editing header

Hello everyone, I have been monitoring Vanilla for quite some time now & I finally decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately it's proving to be a little 'hard' or 'uncomfortable' to me to what I'm used to. I'd like to inquire as to how to edit the header. I'm using the default style/theme. I don't really like the top blue kind of effect. It doesnt seem to go with my site colours ect ect. How can I modify the html to all that bit? meaning: Create a few tables, few drop down menu's, adding a few images.. what file do I edit? Kind regards, Vaz

  • You'll need to edit the vanilla.css. And you'll need to copy the head and menu php files and put them in the vanilla theme folder. Then you can edit those copies and they will take precedence over those in the themes folder.
