Help with the "Notify" extension

Does anyone know if we can change the code in the "Notify" extension so that, by default, the forum automatically sends emails to all members when discussions, that they've started or added content to, are modified. Also, I would want to give members the option to receive emails whenever the forum has content added to it. As of now I can only see the options for "Notification Management" as an administrator. Members don't see it. I'm going to test to see if the "Notification Management" I'm checking as an administrator automatically sends the emails out for all users. http://lussumo.com/community/discussion/5662/question-about-notify-extension/#Comment_60549

  • That would certainly be a nice option (pretty admin GUI with option for individual users to turn it off in their account options...) but, from other people's comments, I think some other things in Notify need fixing first...
  • Yeah it would be nice. So even on this forum there's no way to have it email us if there are updates to our discussion? Is there somewhere on this forum where members critique each others forums? http://www.joemadsamples.com/forum/
