'All discussions' position in IE

TexTex
edited March 2007 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
I guess you already know, but the 'All discussions' is not positioned correctly in the IE. This occurred with IE6 and Vanilla 1.0.3 and still does with IE7 and Vanilla 1.1. I couldn't find an entry here, that's why I mention it.

    I didn't know about this one.

    Does anyone have a fix?

    I guess it comes from the width of the panel on the left. After having a closer look, adding a margin-right:100%; to ContentInfo h1 worked for me in Firefox and IE. How this affects other browsers, I don't know:

    .ContentInfo h1 { color: #000; margin-right:100%; }

    Hi Tex, indeed this fixes the Problem! THANK YOU for that. Only tiny problem after that, "Bottom of Page" is now in the next line of text and not like it should be in the same line as the Discussion title. But that is acceptable. Thank you!
  • Well, that's not very nice than. It actually lets the bottom of page vanish in Firefox. I am sure someone will find a better solution soon, so keep checking.
  • I will, we ALL need to fix that since this is in the default vanilla.css. :)
  • wrong position is also in the vanilla green style. see audioten.scythoior.com - in IE the guest welcome and also the discussions start below the end of the sidepanel. a bit too much whitespace for my flavor ;-) i'll read through the discussions here in the community if that problem is solved somewhere - if so, i'll post it here.
