IDEA: Update check on add-on activation to prevent installation of old add-ons.

Mark, Very happy with the new update check functionality. Have one suggestion. Just re-installed all my extensions one at a time to check compatibility, followed each with a full 'update check'. Would it not make sense to force an extension update check whenever it is (re)activated to reduce the load on the add-on server (and save board owners the trouble of installing outdated extensions)? T.

Maybe. I dunno. I'm not too concerned about the update checker causing heavy load on the server. I know that once I get my add-ons in place I don't touch them unless something breaks. I imagine that most people will accept the default of "remind me to check for updates in 30 days" and just check back once a month.

Hmmm, I just realized the issue generally does not present itself much except during a major Vanilla update. I also noticed that the updater checks ALL installed extensions, whether they're active or not (hence no reason to add them one by one, unless you're silly like me).
