Page Cannot Be Displayed error after entering comment

edited March 2007 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
This is a little odd - in an already open discussion, when I type in a comment and click "add your comments", I get a "page cannot be displayed" error. It's pointing to my post.php page which is in fact there. Here's the catch though, it only seems to be happening in IE (6 & 7). I am able to post comments to a discussion just fine through FF. Anyone have any suggestions? I turned off all of my extensions that have to do with comments just to make sure that they weren't the cause of this issue, but it still happens. Any ideas are much appreciated!

That is unusual... What operating system and version, and exact browser versions are you using?
  • Locally I'm using Windows XP SP1, I've tested IE6 (specifically 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.050301-1526) and FF 1.5.0.10. As mentioned before, it works in FF. I've also tested on my server (Windows Server 2003 Standard SP1) in IE7 (7.0.5730.11). Somehow sounds like an IE problem but I can't figure out why.
  • Not sure what happened, the problem must have had something to do with one of my other extensions. I was having issues getting the attachments extension to work with the images and thickbox, so I disabled all of those and now the comments are working correctly in all browsers.
