Categories disappeared from Vanilla

Hi, I have been running a Vanilla forum for a couple of months. Now suddenly I've gotten a problem - the categories have disappeared! - The "Categories"-link in the menu is gone. - When I start a new discussion the <select> where I usually select categories is also gone. - If I go to settings.php (with my browser) the link for the categories doesn't either show up. Although if I enter the address to "settings.php?PostBackAction=Categories" in my browser it does show up! I'm sure that I haven't installed any new add-on the last month. All that I have been changing is: - adding categories - adding posts - moving posts - changing rights for users to different categories (although I'm an administrator and all the options have been activated for my role) Have anyone seen this problem before? Thank you in advance!

    Go to Settings > Application Settings Make sure that "Allow discussions to be categorized" is checked.
