Cookie problems? (users never stay logged in)

I know I reported this problem for one user on my forum a few months ago but it seems that it's not an isolated issue, and there are quite a few users who every time they close Firefox and open it back up again to visit the forum they're getting logged out everytime. Probably worth noting too that one of the guys who was having problems 6 months ago worked with me and was experiencing the problem despite being on a PC right next to me and with exactly the same setup as me :/ Any ideas please guys?     I changed your cookie domain from www.glosunit.co.uk to .glosunit.co.uk. See if that makes any difference...
