user icon problem

i tried to use user icon in my forum. i uploaded a 32*32 user icon for my user account but the problem is it displays it weird. look at the picture http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/1391/vaniltv5.gif

  • I just confirmed this problem myself, as shown in your GIF. Specifically, the gray line that separates posts is cut away just above the icon itself, almost as if the icon overlaps the gray line. This problem does not occur in posts where the poster has no icon.

    I also found that this problem only occurs in Firefox 2.x and Safari 2.x for the Macintosh (I didn't test other Mac browsers). But it does NOT occur (i.e., the gray line is not cut away) in IE for Windows. So I would assume there is a bug at work somewhere that unfortunately affects Mac users and yet doesn't affect Windows users!
  • Are you using an extension called Account Picture (or similar)?

    I think this is a known issue.
    I use Safari and Mac Firefox and the icons display great.

    Thanks for the tip, Wanderer.

    I just disabled Account Pictures 1.1 and the gray line problem vanished (even though the icons I had created under Account Pictures were still visible in the thread). I thought it was an Account Pictures bug, but it is in fact a Vanilla CSS bug! Have a look at the fix here.
