Number of Guests to my forum

I just upgraded my forum to 1.1.2 Now, for some reason, it always says I have tons of guests. It may say 54 guests one minute, then 84 guests the next minute. I know I don't have that many people there. Is there some sort of error going on? Thanks.

    Is this part of the who's online or statistics extension? Vanilla doesnt do it by default..

    Does the count go up and down or just up?
    My count jumps sometimes (up, never down), I am sure it's bots visiting for whatever reason.

    I'm using the same extension and it doesn't show any guests count at all, only members wehn they're signed in!! Is there a way to make show guests?!

    Not sure how it happens, it just worked on its own. I wonder if my problem is happening due to spam bots?

    Who's Online shows the number of guests currently logged in as well as registered users.
    I've recently had up to 16 guests logged in at the same time but only for a short period, often less than a minute which suggests they are bots.

    Mine does show the actual names of users signed on. For some reason, it shows an immense number of guests. I know I do not have 84 guests at a given time. I guess it is spam bots. No big deal, it makes my site seem more popular to the registered visitors....lol.
