optimizing tips for vanilla

i am very new to vanilla. i want to leath about optimizing vanilla. there are lots of master vanilla users in here so if you share your experiences with me i ll be very gratefull, thanks.

    Well on thing for sure is to make sure you dont install TOO many extension that have many database calls, so are very light and you can get a way with having over 20 but a few heavy load ons could really slow your forum down.
