Notification of discussion replies

edited March 2007 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
Total newbie, so be gentle. I've joined a technical forum using Vanilla. Although I've subscribed to the forum, and I get notifications about replies to discussions, there isn't an immediate logic to these notifications. Not only do they appear to be random, but they don't direct me to the correct threads, or, specifically, threads which I have received an answer. Also, looking at this forum, I don't see how to subscribe (in the forum I've discussed above it is a toggle option in the left-hand column area). Is this a plug-in feature of Vanilla? Thanks.

Yessiree, its called Notify. Havn't used it, so not too sure about the odd behavior.

For here... you would have to subscribe to one of the RSS feeds (also in the sidebar) to keep up to date.
  • Thanks, WallPhone, will get our webmaster to use it, and in the meantime, use an RSS feed.
