Idea: What do you think about this?

Heyas guys. We got most support going on this forum, thought I would start an actual discussion (pun intended :P ) .

Ok I haave this idea for an extension. Its basically a small version of a game me and a few mates has planned to develop. I can't tell you any details, as its still early development. But I would like to discuss the following scenario:

If I was to create said extension, and decide that it would be cool to share it here as an add-on, would it be uhm.. ok / proper / not against the rules or something .. to have an ad /link to the game site where the actual game will be somewhere on the forums that use my extension. I am think along the lines of when a use directly takes advantage of said extension, somewhere it says "And if u want to play the real deal, visit :". As part of the agreement between me as an extension write and you as a forum developer, it had to be agreed that you would not remove said ad.

Hope this made sense.. Anyways, what do you think. Either you share or you don't? Or is this ok?

I don't think it's technically against any rules (at this point in time, at least). However, I'm certain that by doing so you would make someone think twice about using your add-on. I suppose you'd also have to determine if the add-on was released with a license/agreement that prohibits anyone from removing the ad. Currently, the add-ons can all be customized and modified as anyone pleases.
