LAN party event extension help needed

I'm trying to come up with a way to extend Vanilla 1x to allow users to do the following: * See upcoming events * Register for events * Pay for events after registering Any ideas on how I could do this?

    I have decent PHP experience and understand MySQL to a fair degree. Vanilla, not so much.
