Problem with "wrap" and integrating vanilla with wordpress

edited April 2007 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
Hey! I'm new here, and I'm hoping you folks can help me with an issue I'm having. I'm currently playing around with Vanilla in the hopes to use it as the forums for my small gaming company. I'm tooling with it right now in a test install, and primarily focusing on getting it integrated with my wordpress theme. I'm nowhere near getting all the CSS bits tweaked, but Here's the board as I've got it so far.

I have run into a bit of a snag in the layout, though. I have followed the various instructions linked in this article, including the last one about getting the themes to match. So far, after adding the wrap to the header, all the pages except the Categories page and the Account page have fit within the flow of the wrap. I just can't seem to get them to look right, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the answer is right under my nose.

I'm hoping someone can head over and take a look, and give me some clues as to what might be wrong. I can provide code if need be.

Thanks!

  • I'm hoping to do the same thing, nathanael. The categories page looks fine in Firefox Mac. The search page doesn't, though. The "Advanced" link overlaps the search box.
  • have you tried this?
  • Aye, that's the "last article" to which I was referring. I followed it as closely as I could, but some of it was a bit vague. In firefox, when I look at the categories page, the wrap is cut off. The same applies to the Account page.

Now, looking at it in IE 7, the wrap extends properly, yet the content is positioned too far down. Hmmm...
