    Looks like there's something wrong with your theme and/or your style. You have a white page with no styling at all, but you can still click on "Discussions, Categories, Search..." , right?

    Vanilla shouldn't be in the cgi folder.
    If you didn't put it in the cgi folder, you have to check the content of vanilla-1.1.2/conf/settings.php

    sorry but ur best bet is to just give up.
    and forget about having a forum. If u cannot install, u definitely cannot administer it. or upgrade. or add extensions etc etc etc.

    I'm not trying to be rude. but with this start I can only see you crash and burn. Better to bail while u still can.
