    Want to point me towards some links where i can learn more about AJAX? It's been a while since I've done serious web coding. I mostly do just enterprise level php database stuff...I'd really like to get my head wrapped around this :)

    i would love for you to get your head wrapped around this! you should understand first and foremost that ajax is concept, not an implementation. after you get past that, things make a lot more sense.
