Does this site really use vanilla?

edited May 2007 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
I just found a great site that appears to use vanilla for its discussions. Does it really use vanilla? http://www.colourlovers.com/ If they do, they have some nice addons that I'd like to find out more about. 1. Is there any addon to give a table of the latest discussions, like in the lower left corner of the site? 2. I know there's a statistics addon, but does any exist that can give it in text paragraph form, like in the lower right corner of the site? 3. Is the dynamic navigation bar at the top of the page possible with some vanilla addon, or is it something totally third-party?

Comments

  • Yes. 1.) Not that I know of. We custom made it. 2.) The paragraph in the lower right isn't plugged into Vanilla, so not sure what you're asking. 3.) The site navigation is one of a kind ;) Cheers, -Darius

thats a pretty neat layout of the site
in the blog extension page. there is code for the nuggets extension. its to display latest blog posts.
u can adapt it real easy to show latest forum posts instead. u can also position it in lot of different places using the Nuggets extension
how hard it is to change the statistic s extension to show a paragraph instead of a list.

the site navigation is really sweet.
plus u should make ur own cool navigation, don't rip of this sites nav
what blog package r u using
