Handling viewable posts from non-trusted members

edited May 2007 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
Hi I have a unique problem (well it probably isnt but..) in that I need to control what is shown to general users when a non-trusted user posts a discussion on the forum. The scenario is as follows: 1) user registers. 2) admin dont initially trust users until they have posted a number of comments. 3) user makes first post. 4) user can see their new post, but no other users can (except the admin) 5) the new post is flagged by email for the admin to review. 6) if the admin are happy with the post they can 'allow viewing' - the user is still not trusted until they have been passed. Now I have looked into the People/Comments classes, but I'm wary that I don't want to go in there and make huge changes when there might already be a better solution already out there. Can anyone help? Many Thanks
