Need Vanilla Installation Wizard Help

Hi Friends I sucessfully created mysql database and i uploaded test folder with vanilla files its working online. but i cont able to complite the setup its asking "We came across some problems while checking your permissions... Vanilla needs to have write permission enabled on the conf folder" in conf folder i found .htaccess file i dont know how can i execute the "chmod 777 ./conf" from the root Vanilla folder??? i am using file zilla uploader so i am confused to adding this command i cont see any command browser like thr video demo provided from vanilla. please help me.

    right select the conf folder, select "File Attributes..." and you can set them there see http://www.interspire.com/content/articles/12/1/FTP-and-Understanding-File-Permissions for more info
