Mint

edited May 2007 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
Hi, I'm trying to use Mint to track stats on my Vanilla Form. Can anyone give a quick overview of how to do this? I know I need to add the JS to my pages ... but what pages? And ... how do I insert this into a .PHP page, header, ect? And what about now discussions ... etc. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. - Kory

    Install NUggets extension
Create a new nuggets, Select Header, add ur script to it.
select the pages u want it to be on and ur done.

As to which pages u should track well Comments page and Discussions page. rest will be useless info to track.
btw using a general statictics package is not something i will use to track a forum. cause they don't give u stuff like
Comments per page, or Comments freq per day, Discussions per author, etc.
  • thanks. i'll try the NUggets extension. Is there a tool you use for more precise stats on comments, discussions, etc.
  • Some people use the statistics extension but it's not perfect...
