Integrating Vanilla with Elgg

Is anyone considering integrating Elgg, the multiuser social networking and blogging environment (http://www.elgg.org).

It seems to be a very very powerfull CMS for any community.

Elgg seems to be very useful not just for education, but for communities who need information sharing... Elgg is a great addon for vanilla and vise versa.

    Unless I'm mistaken, it already appears that ELGG has it's own type of forum or are they simply plugging it into another forum system? On the surface it looks nice and to be still under development, but it seems a bit haywire at the same time as navigation in terms of just finding anything seems to leave you lost.

    Yes, I saw the forum plugin of Elgg, just like you said, it seems a bit haywire, and if it is great that vanilla can be the forum of Elgg
