Custom Vanilla

edited May 2007 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
Hey I just updated my site and installed Vanilla Forum for it, My Site Click on the forum link to see how it integrated with the rest of the design.

Please post your opinions, and suggestions. This is still a work in progress.

  • It looks really nice. Do you have it fully integrated (single login)? Did you know that you have an error on your main page? It has something top do with valforms.js and "cform has no properties".

Love the design and implementation. Fantastic work!

One thing and this is more about having a continuity with your UI. On your forums discussions, categories and search don't have subtitles whereas Home and About do. Considering they also appear within the rest of your sites sections as well it might be ideal to add them to the 3 I mentioned as well.

In addition to this your site's slogan on the main page is "Talkabout Design is a new design community website." yet on the forum it's "Talkabout Design is a new design community".

Again this is all just about continuity so forgive me if it looks like I'm just picking :)
  • Thanks ADM, I fixed the stuff you pointed out. I added second line to the forum menu, however i don''t know how to add a line of text that would be different for each. Since its a dynamic menu. Maybe I can store some values in an array and then spit it out.
