So I used the page manager setting to delete the "categories" tab from my forum. I just didn't see much relevance so I figured why not? Well, now when I try to start a discussion it asks me to select a category for the discussion, and since I don't have a categories tab there is nothing there. Now I've tried to re-create a categories tab but it doesn't seem to function properly. Does anyone have a fix to this?

    Have you tried clicking "Resync Tabs" from the Page Management page?

    Deleting the categories tab shouldnt delete all the categories...What if you browse to yourdomain.com/forumfolder/categories/ ? (assuming you're using Friendly URLS)

    ok I got it back now. Even after I resync-ed the tabs it didn't work correctly. That's because I unchecked all the roles boxes for that category. If I haven't mentioned this yet - all the help on here is amazing. And vanilla is far superior to any other board out there in my opinion. Thanks everyone!
