Destination page after login

I am having a bit of trouble with this and I am hoping you all can help. I created a login form on a page of my own, and it posts the form information to people.php. I am trying to perform the login, and then send the user to a specific page. Any advice on where to look would be very helpful! Thank you for your time. - Daniel
