Category page disappeared!

I was fooling around with some extensions (which I subsequently deleted), and now when I click on the categories tab, I am getting a 404 page. The url the tab directs me to seems to have changed to /path/categories.php/, whereas for the other tabs the last slash does not exist-I guess this might be the problem, but I didn't change this consciously, and I don't know a thing about php.

Some quick help would be appreciated.

    Make sure you disabled the deleted extensions first. Have a look into /conf/extensions.php.
