Getting rid of "private" label?

I just had a new person register for my site a few minutes ago. Her first post was labeled as [Private].

I have never seen this before and just figured out that she did it by whispering the first post of a thread to ME. She didn't intend the post to be private, but I see no way to "unwhisper" the post because the "whisper to" field doesn't exist when I try to edit it.

Any way to fix it?

    You cant unwhisper entire discussions I'm afraid.

    Your best solution would be to whisper back to her explaining how whispers work--she simply might not know.
