Calendar?

I've searched around but the Google Calendar seems to be giving everyone problems. I use the DCalender right now, but it would be great if there was some sort of upgrade to it that allowed for active link dates to be placed by administrators. Not really sure how that would work. I saw an idea for an integrated calendar, but no one seemed to go anywhere with it. I saw that here http://lussumo.com/community/discussion/6377/integrated-event-calendar/#Item_44 So, is there a way to have a live event calendar on Vanilla that I'm just not seeing? The clients I'm designing for do a lot of events and it would be nice to have a calendar for their users to click on and search around on without having to click outside the message board.

    Basically, IIRC, no one's really got anywhere with an event calendar. Please create one and everyone will love you :)

    haha I wish I was that good. I'm sorta just starting out with all of this. Not really, but I've only gotten serious about it recently. Maybe down the road I can.
