displaying number of comments per categorie???

How can i display the total number of comments per category on the category page? thanks, wayne

    It would require a pretty heavy SQL query...I wouldnt really advise it.

    I thought I had done something like this and I did by modifying the categories.php file. I can send it to you, if you like. Just whisper me your email address. Right now it lists each discussion with the number of comments per discussion.
