Change to a new domain
It seems easy enough to do this but for some reason it doesn't work for me.
I have my Vanilla forum installed on an adress like www.domain.com/forum, and now I have found a new domain that I want to use instead. The web host is the same so what I tried was to use Addon domain (in cpanel) to point at the folder "forum". The problem is that the settings in the settings.php file is set to the old url, so the old address is loaded as soon as you enter the page. I changed all the lines in the settings.php to the new url but that made it impossible to login to the forum. I cleared my cookies but that didn't help.
Do you guys think I missed something, or do you have any tips? Thanks alot!
