Attachments - readfile() has been disabled

Attachments (again - sry) the UPLOAD works fine. but DOWNLOAD via vanilla ( http://forum.xxx.com/vanilla/?PostBackAction=Download&AttachmentID=19 ) get a 1kB file with this code: <br /> <b>Warning</b>: readfile() has been disabled for security reasons in <b>/CORE/AreaX/xxx.com/forum/www/vanilla/extensions/Attachments/default.php</b> on line <b>377</b><br /> the file is not corrupted. i can download it directly from web folder ( http://forum.xxx.com/upload/file.name ) can anybody point me to the solution? thx in advance.

    Seems like a security setting on your PHP install. Try talking to your host about it to see if you can get it turned off.
