order of "user name" and "This discussion is related to"

edited September 2007 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
On a page like this one, where we see a "discussion is related to an add-on", is it intented to display the name of the member that posts THEN the notice "This discussion is related to..." ?

  • I agree grahack - it would be better if the "This discussion is related to..." banner was ABOVE the username of the comment. Otherwise it kinda looks like the commenter is the person who wrote the discussion.
  • Ok, so here is a good reason to test the bugtracker...
  • Well, the bugtracker doesn't seem to have a project lussumo.com. This is for the software only. I'm gonna wait a bit for that discussion to be found by the Vanilla intelligentia.

I did it that way because I couldn't figure out the css to make it go above and I was short on time. It uses Vanilla's addon system (a delegate) to place the text in the message there. If anyone else wants to figure out a different delegate to use and do the css, I'd be happy to change it. But I don't see this as a big problem.
  • Why not just throw the message into the NoticeCollector?
