Replicate addons on own site?

Just wondering what extensions are used for the addons section, and how to create my own version. I'm looking to set up doing this on my own server for my own software.

    Most of it is bespoke code. It's built on the lussumo framework but not entirely using public addons. Mark has stated he has no plans to release the source code (ofcourse he might at some point, but i wouldnt hold out for it)

    Aww :( This one something I found very appealing. I was really hoping that online file upload/sort/management system would have been an addon!
