Noob headaches w/ style, extension and CMS

Hi there. I just installed Vanilla fresh on my new domain, it works, but the Vaneablack style and the Account Pictures extension don't seem to get along too well. I get this weird indenting thing going in the replies: http://postreply.org/vanilla/comments.php?DiscussionID=1&page=1#Item_6 I did process of elimination on extentions and find it to be Account Pictures. I'm running: Account Pictures 1.2 (enabled) Announcement 1.2 (disabled) Better BB Code 1.0 (enabled) Invite-Only System 0.3.1 (disabled) Page Manager 2.5.1 (enabled) Another little itch is when I tried to customize the title text. I want to slap an image in place of the text but it seems to push the rest of the page down when I'd actually like to tighten up the height. Any ideas? Suggestions.

    Account Pictures add some css rules:#Comments .CommentHeader li div.CommentIcon { background:transparent none no-repeat scroll center; padding:32px 0px 32px 32px; }

    Check AccountPictures/default.php. Look for $Head->AddString(...
