No-one can post; using Wordpress integration; how do I debug?

I've set up Vanilla to use Wordpress logins, as described in the documentation. Users are being correctly authenticated by Vanilla against the Wordpress login cookie (I get "signed in as [username]" in the top-right of the screen,as expected), but when any user (including the forum administrator) tries to post, I get Some problems were encountered There was a problem authenticating your post information. How do I go about debugging this? I can't find any way of turning on some sort of debugging so that I can see *what* exactly the problem authenticating *was*.

    I've already set COOKIE_PATH to '/' and COOKIE_DOMAIN to '' as per http://lussumo.com/community/discussion/5700/fresh-install-bug/#Comment_61042 incidentally, so sadly that isn't the problem...
