An error during installation

Notice: Use of undefined constant APPLICATION_VERSION - assumed 'APPLICATION_VERSION' in /home/skatecof/public_html/vforum/languages/English/definitions.php on line 597 This keep showing even if the installation was successful, what kind of error is it? should I edit something?

    it cannot find the APPLICATION_VERSION constant that is set in appg/version.php.

    Try to reinstall appg/settings.php and appg/version.php.
