Adding Div just below pageinfo?

I want to add a Div (for banners) just below the pageinfo (1to2 of 2). Where can I add it? I am using a theme, so which file and on what directory should I edit? Is is the /themes/discussions.php or the /themes/mythemes/discussions.php. I tried adding div on both but does nothing... Help needed. Thanks

I would install the Nuggets add-on. It gives you the ability to add stuff to different parts of the forum.

Anyway, as stated in the docs, you should never alter themes/*.php files.
