(only) index.php sent to browser

Hi there, I know it might be rather an apache2 configuration problem than vanilla based, but I've got the nice "php file sent [unparsed] to browser" within my new testing environment and cannot figure out why that is. The strange thing about it is, that it's only with vanilla's index.php. categories.php, people.php and so on just work, as my demo index.php containing a phpinfo() does. So it seems to be _only_ vanilla's index.php. is there anyone with a good idea what's going on here? :-/

  • try overwriting it with the one from the original .zip file?
  • The solution is here: http://lussumo.com/docs/doku.php?id=filebrowser:bugs You must change the first line to: <?php Maybe the author should update the 2 scripts with the extra 3 characters that would make them work regardless of PHP's short_open_tag setting.
