    You can inject code wherever you need.

    I like Vanilla is so vanilla and so simply extendable to almost anything you want - social network, blog, website, ...

    also one other favorite feature* is the freeness!!

    I can't say I'm a professional developer but I love Vanilla for the same reasons than above. It's pretty easy to customize. I have nightmares just trying to remember how to install a mod on a phpBB forum...

    But the thing I like the most is not exactly a feature. It's Vanilla's community :)
