Wordpress + Vanilla and "There was a problem authenticating..."

edited December 2007 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
I'm working on a WordPress integration, and after following the guide, setting the cookie domain and path, and fixing the authenticator, I can't log into the forum directly. I have to use WordPress to log in, and then, if I'm lucky, Vanilla picks up on the cookie. The only problem there is that then, I can't change anything. I get "There was a problem authenticating your post information." I read the post on session cookies and I've determined that it is not a PHP problem, using the visit counts as a test. Anyone got any fresh ideas? I've also studied the wp_users table, and found nothing there.
