Apply form misalignment in ie7

edited December 2007 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
I'm experiencing a misalignment in the apply for membership form in ie7. The 'About membership' text from the left column is rendered over the form fields in the right column, leaving a large blank space on the left. The problem does not appear in Firefox or Safari. I haven't changed any CSS on this page, but I have edited the 'About membership' text, which is now shorter, and I also have additional form fields on the right using the PredefinedAttributes extension. I can't figure what may be causing the problem in internet explorer. Can anyone help? You can access the form at http://www.venlafacts.org/people.php?PostBackAction=ApplyForm Thanks in advance.

  • This thread may be related to the problem: http://lussumo.com/community/discussion/997/misalignment-on-applyphp-form-ie/#Item_0 I still have not found a solution. Any ideas?
  • I found the cause. It was the googleanalytics code that I also included at the top of the page. I moved it to the bottom, and now the form displays fine in ie7. I'm still not sure why internet explorer had a problem with it, while the other browsers were fine, but for the time being the problem is resolved.
