Multiple installs weirdness with application email

I set up two Vanilla installs on the same server in separate folders using separate databases. For some reason the admin from forum A is getting emails re applications waiting for approval from forum B, even though she is not even a user in forum B. As admin for forum B I get emails about applications for forum B as expected.

Any idea what might be causing this and how to fix it?
