Fatal error: session_start(): Failed to initialize storage module:

I just D/L Vanilla 1.1.4 and Install everything seem all right. But when I finish installation and start to use it I got fatal error Fatal error: session_start(): Failed to initialize storage module: user (path: /tmp) in /var/www/html/library/People/People.Class.Authenticator.php on line 113 I googling around but cannot find any solution for Vanilla any help would appreciate.

Do you use any other PHP scripts that utilise sessions? Do they work? If not, check with your hosts if they have some special setup for PHP sessions.
