All Discussions Overview

I tried to search to see if this has been done already, but I was thinking is there an addon that when your on the all discussions page it does even more of an overview. ie has a header of a category and then maybe the latest 5 posts in that area and under it a See all link?

So something that would look like:

General:

Post Title 4

Random:

Just noticed my users are getting frustrated with the All discussions view since by category is hard to see

Yep, it's even called Discussion Overview (though in my opinion it would need a few updates.)
