Style like Phpbb

First of all,
I like to say that it's an amzing script.
Php with ajax is great!
But when the forum become greater,
I think with the currently style, it's impossible (structure).
Maybe it's good to make a add-on style like simplemachines / phpbb with
a good differt between different top categories / subcategories / topics
